Our Purpose
Nehemiah Ministries began in 1996 in the hearts of Ron and Jeanne DeHaas when God inspired a desire in them to assist those in pastoral ministry or missions who needed help with marriage, family or personal issues. It was in that year that God graciously provided the 130 acre property now known as Nehemiah Ministries. Nestled in the Maple River Valley Basin, Ron and Jeanne envisioned a place for ministers to retreat, relax, and refresh themselves in its natural beauty. The lovely two bedroom guesthouse with full kitchen, laundry, and bathroom facilities would make this particular place a “home away from home.”
